What are QR codes, and How do they work?
A QR (Quick Response) code is a matrix code (or 2D two-dimensional barcode) that contains converted information. When a picture is taken of a QR code, using your mobile phone camera, the phone will decode the QR code and reveal the information (ie. a coupon, image, website link, or promotional offer etc...) so the user can read it using the 3G Network. QR codes can be displayed anywhere print and screen advertising is displayed.
Most mobile phones with a camera can read a QR code and if they cannot, free software can be installed so the phone can read them.
